How does Take a Chef work for private chefs?

Take a Chef is a platform that connects private chefs with clients. Here, you'll find how to showcase your services and start receiving bookings.

Take a Chef works in five steps: create your profile, receive client requests, get booked, receive payment, and collect reviews. Here is the full breakdown:

1. Profile Creation: Sign up for free, set up your profile, craft your menus and get ready to receive client requests.
2. Receive requests: Clients post requests, which go to chefs within your coverage area. The first three chefs to respond with a proposal can start a chat with the client on the platform. 
3. Get booked: Clients select their chef and menu, then complete the booking through the platform. Once a client books you, you will receive their contact details and a booking confirmation via email. 
4. Payment Process: Make sure your banking details are up to date in your profile. The wire transfer will be processed within 48 working hours after the service is completed.
5. Reviews: Clients receive a survey via email shortly after the service to rate their experience. High scores are displayed on your chef profile, helping reward your efforts and build your reputation.
