How the Take a Chef Platform Works: Step-by-Step Guide

Before you start impressing your guests with your signature dish, we prepared a quick guide about the TAC platform so you can be fully onboarded. Ready? 

Our process:

  1. Clients request: Clients submit a personalized request, that is sent to chefs within a 50 km area.
  2. Chef proposals: Up to 3 chefs can submit menu proposals.
  3. Booking: The client chooses and books a chef.
  4. Confirmation: Both the client and the selected chef receive email confirmations and each other's contact information to finalize any pending details.
  5. Service: The chef provides the service.
  6. Payment: The payment is processed 48 business hours after the service.
  7. Feedback: 24 hours after the service, the client can rate the experience.

Important Information

  • Commission fee: To support the platform's operational costs and maximize your exposure, we apply an 18% commission on each transaction. This fee is crucial to maintaining and improving our services, which benefit both chefs and clients.
  • Proposals limit: We've found that limiting each client to three proposals strikes the perfect balance, as it avoids overwhelming them with choices and increases your chances of getting picked.
