Understanding Guest Requests: Cuisine, Budget, and Event Info
Unfolding the first touchpoint with your clients
The service request form is where clients share their event details, culinary preferences, and budget with you. Use this guide to understand each section of the form so you can craft a tailored proposal that meets their needs.
Event details
- Location: Where the service takes place. Clients may provide a detailed address or a general area, particularly if they're tourists or finalizing their plans.
- Number of guests: Clients select the option that best matches their party size: meals for 2, small gatherings (3-6), medium parties (7-12), or large events (13+ guests).
- Meal type: Clients choose the meal type they are hosting: lunch or dinner. This helps you plan your menu and schedule accordingly.
Cuisine and dietary preferences
- Type of cuisine: Customers select from available cuisines including Mediterranean, Italian, French, Japanese, Fusion, Seafood, and Local. If none of these match their preference, they can choose the Surprise Me option to leave the choice to you.
- Dietary restrictions: Customers use this field to specify any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special diets (for example, vegan, gluten-free, or kosher). Review this information carefully before preparing your proposal, as overlooking a restriction could affect client safety.
Comment section
Clients can leave additional notes here, such as the event's purpose, specific food preferences, or special requests. Pay close attention to this section - it often contains the details that make a proposal stand out and help you secure the booking. This information is key in personalizing your proposal and winning the client.
Budget and contact information
- Budget: Clients select from three budget tiers: Basic (most affordable), Temptation (mid-range), and Exclusive (premium). Each tier guides the scope, ingredients, and overall ambition of your proposed menu.
- Contact information: Customers provide their contact details — including phone number and email address — which are shared with you once they confirm a booking.
Our commitment to your safety
To protect your time, the platform automatically verifies client email addresses and filters out messages containing false information, spam, or bot-generated requests. This means you only receive inquiries from genuine potential clients. If you ever encounter a suspicious request that appears to have slipped through, you can report it directly from the request view.
Next steps
Once you understand what a client is looking for from their service request form, you are ready to craft a tailored proposal. Make sure to address their cuisine preference, dietary restrictions, budget tier, and any notes left in the comment section.
