Request Dashboard 101
A crash course in navigating and managing your requests.
One of the keys to keeping your private Chef business running like a well-oiled machine is staying on top of your pending, upcoming, and completed requests. In this article, you will find some quick pointers to help you navigate this section of our platform and use your dashboard like a pro.
Where to Find Your Request Dashboard?
Once you log into your Take A Chef account, you will land on your homepage. There, you can see new requests you’ve received and service statistics in your area.
To access your dashboard, simply go to the main menu and click on ‘Requests.’
Your dashboard categorizes all your requests—from new inquiries to confirmed bookings and even canceled requests. Each service request is added to a specific tab on your dashboard, depending on its status or point in the process at any given time. Use the filter options at the top right corner to organize and prioritize your requests efficiently.
How are Requests Classified?
Each tab on your dashboard displays requests in different statuses. These are:
- New: Fresh requests awaiting your response.
- In Process: Requests that have yet to be finalized by the guest. At this point, you can chat with your guests and modify your proposals if needed.
- Confirmed: The deal is sealed, and your services are officially scheduled. A countdown to the service date is displayed.
- Paid and Executed: These are completed events; their payment is either processed or currently in progress.
- Canceled: Requests no longer active. These have already met the full quota of proposals sent to the guest or have been canceled by them.
