In which currency is the payment made?

Understand how currency works on Take a Chef, including payment processing and potential exchange rates

All quotes on our platform are shown in the local currency of the country where the service will take place.

When you proceed with the booking, the payment will be processed in the same local currency. If you’re paying from abroad or using an international payment method, any conversion or exchange rates applied will depend on your bank or payment provider.

Exceptions: For services in Costa Rica, Argentina, and Colombia, quotes are usually provided in USD.
