How to submit a service request

Finding the perfect private chef for your event — whether for a single occasion or multiple days — is simple. Just create a free service request on Take a Chef and start receiving personalized proposals from local chefs.

To receive quotes and chef proposals in your area, create a service request by following these steps:

1. Visit the Take a Chef website
2. Click Get Started or use this direct link to open the request form.
   
   
   
   
3. Fill in the details for your service (e.g., date, location, number of guests, and cuisine preferences).
   
   Note: During the process, you'll be required to provide essential information such as your name, email, and phone number. This information is kept secure and is used only to match you with available chefs — it will not be shared directly with them.
4. Create your Take a Chef account to save your details and receive chef proposals directly.
5. Click "send".

Your request has been sent to local chefs. You'll start receiving proposals shortly — typically within a few hours.

Need a Last-Minute Chef?

Most chefs require at least 24 hours’ notice to prepare for a service, and some may need additional lead time. This helps ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.

If you still need a chef for a last-minute booking or for tonight, you can submit a request here and available chefs will respond as quickly as possible.

If you don’t hear back within a couple of hours, we recommend trying a different date or reaching out to our Customer Success team for assistance.
