How To Cancel A Booking?

Plans changed? Here’s how to manage it.

We understand that plans can change. Here’s how to cancel your Take a Chef booking and what to expect from our cancellation policy.

For requests made on or after September 4th, 2025

  • 15 days or more before the service: 100% refund.

  • Less than 15 days before the service: No refund.

  • Within 24 hours of payment, if the service is scheduled more than 3 days away: 100% refund.

For requests made before September 4th, 2025

  • More than 30 days before the service: 100% refund.

  • Between 30 and 7 days before the service: 50% refund, or the option to reschedule with the same chef within the next 90 days.

  • Less than 7 days before the service: No refund, as the chef has already reserved their time and may have declined other opportunities.

If you would like to proceed with the cancellation, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Take a Chef profile.

  2. Go to My Shopping.

  3. Find your confirmed booking and click Manage.

  4. Click the three dots icon on the top right corner.

  5. Select Cancel Booking.

  6. Choose a cancellation reason.

  7. Confirm the cancellation.
