Chef Cancellation Policy

Cancellations create a bad experience for clients. We ask you to commit to honoring every confirmed service.
 

 

Acceptable Reasons to Cancel

Only in real emergencies:

  • Medical issues or accidents
  • Family emergencies
  • Natural disasters or other proven causes.
 

Not Acceptable Reasons

  • Outdated or incorrect calendar
  • Double booking / overcommitting
  • Deciding not to do the service without a valid reason
  • Lack of organization or late decline.

What Happens if You Cancel

  • You must inform us immediately and explain the reason.
  • If the cancellation is justified → no penalty.
  • If the cancellation is unjustified → penalties will apply.
 

Possible Consequences of Unjustified Cancellations

  • Fewer booking requests (lower score)
  • Suspension of Automated Offer (temporary or permanent)
  • Temporary suspension of your account
  • Permanent removal from the platform (in repeat or serious cases).
 

Best Practices to Prevent Cancellations

  • Keep your calendar updated at all times
  • Review client requests carefully before accepting
  • Decline quickly if you’re not available or interested
  • Communicate clearly and early.
